Just saw this. Thanks for offer . . . But not up for IRL comms. But I didn’t get to the poisoning part of Ingalls bio. Only got half way through last Oct and haven’t reopened a full book since. Sucks - used to love to read. Her descriptions of longing for her childhood memories of the prairie and places. Hits me keenly. Hope all wellish with ye.

I must have been drunk. I typically don’t want to talk with anyone. Thanks for putting up with this.

Joys of going back to the land...My parents would not have tolerated fleas. Would not keep dogs or cats, possibly for that reason. Rented a few different houses before settling in one that did have running water and electricity, but NEVER television (I live there now). I enjoyed this memoir of someone else having been there too.

If you haven't, read Laura Ingalls Wilder's biography and autobiography. Lots of warnings that tell you to "accidentally" poison someone.

i read all of the little house books. . .in the best of memories there was a part of my childhood that was very much like the little house books. I started reading the biography last year, half way through. What is the deal with the poison you mention? I will have to google now.
